Kyrie Gives Incredibly Candid Opinion on LeBron James

Kyrie Irivng gave incredibly high praise to LeBron James.

Kyrie Irving and LeBron James are a duo that'll be forever linked to each other because of their success in Cleveland. Even though both Irving and LeBron were much younger when they played together, Irving still knew LeBron would dominate at age 38.

After the Brooklyn Nets defeated the Los Angeles Lakers on Monday night, Irving gave an incredibly candid answer on how he's not surprised by LeBron James.

"To answer your first question, yes, I definitely saw this when we were playing together," Irving said. "His ability to prepare himself mentally, spiritually, emotionally, game-to-game, day-to-day. I've been quoted on saying it's hard to be LeBron James or any superstar in any entertainment sport, athletic, or business industry, cuz all eyes are on you. But he's handled it extremely well, we gave the keys to the whole entire business to an 18-year-old kid, and now he's 38 years old and he's still dominating. I don't think we should be surprised."

There was a moment in time when Kyrie Irving didn't have nice things to say about LeBron James, those days are over. The only thing Irving wants people to do when it comes to LeBron James is to celebrate him.

"I think we should congratulate him and celebrate him as much as possible," Irving said. "Continue to enjoy the shows that he puts on because it's not going to be for too much longer - whenever he decides to play. I'm enjoying the show and I wish we could have gotten a chance to play against one another. Who knows what could happen down the line."

When Kyrie Irving says "who knows what could happen down the line", that's a very accurate statement. This season alone was such a rollercoaster when it came to Irving's tenure with the Nets. As he enters this off-season as an unrestricted free agent, anything could happen.
