Nuggets' Michael Malone Ripped by NBA Fans for Comments After Game 7 Loss

The Denver Nuggets' season came to a stunning end Sunday night when the defending champions blew a 20-point second-half lead and lost Game 7 at home to the Minnesota Timberwolves, 98-90.
The Timberwolves advance to face to the Dallas Mavericks in the Western Conference Finals, which start Wednesday night in Minnesota.
Nuggets head coach Michael Malone had a tense moment in his postgame press conference when he got upset at one reporter's question about losing the game after having such a big lead. He dropped an F-bomb before calling the question "stupid."
Here's that moment (warning: there is a bad word in this video):
Reporter: “How hard is it just to absorb a loss like this after going ahead by 20?”

Michael Malone: “The season’s over. That’s what’s hard. F*ck being up by 20… Stupid ass questions.” 😳pic.twitter.com/UxX5xKtW55
Fans ripped Malone for that:
Such a clown.

You don't like the question, pivot into the direction that you want to go. But don't belittle a journalist asking a question and doing their job.
You won 1 title against a play-in team in the Heat. Calm down.
Take your medicine and answer the questions. https://t.co/NzFgETbD4H
8-year-old throwing a tantrum, criticizing someone doing their job well just cause he's mad he failed at his. https://t.co/8LSvOsXM80

This sh*t is so corny. When everything’s going good they can’t get enough of the reporters but when you collapse in front of your home fans and the entire nba community you get mad at someone asking you the most harmless question https://t.co/KiCFHrOXG6

Making millions of dollars coaching the best players on earth yet unable to handle a very normal, non confrontational question by a reporter is always so silly to me https://t.co/rkh8dpdrMD

Michael Malone is an incredibly unlikable guy. https://t.co/8zInSmp6bT

Michael Malone is my favorite coach in the league. I think he is the best.

But this is absolutely terrible from him. You can't be the guy who complains about not getting enough media coverage, then get upset when you don't like the questions https://t.co/J3df1UdEKH
Absolutely nothing wrong with the question.

Either stick to “next question” or answer it like a professional, man.
Stupid ass answer. https://t.co/3t9Et28fME
