The NFL season kicked off on Thursday night with the Kansas City Chiefs vs. the Detroit Lions. Getting in the football spirit for this season opener, the Denver Nuggets shared an incredible video of Nikola Jokic and other Nuggets players tossing around a football in the basketball gym:

Unsurprisingly, Jokic looked like a very good quarterback. The reigning Finals MVP is one of the greatest outlet passers ever, and often throws his passes one-handed like a quarterback would. Looking like a natural throwing the football, Jokic would be one of the better quarterbacks in the NBA with his strong throwing arm.

NFL season is always an exciting time, but NBA fans are also getting ready for the upcoming basketball season. Less than a month away from training camp, the NBA is right around the corner, and will be back soon. For the Nuggets, they will look to defend their first title in franchise history as they sit on everybody's radar.

Often flying under the radar last season, the Nuggets certainly will not be able to do that this year. As the defending champions, Denver will have to be ready for everyone's best shot on a nightly basis. This is no easy task, but with Jokic, Jamal Murray, and the rest of Denver's roster, the defending champions are in a great position to battle for another title.
