Indiana Pacers vs Washington Wizards preview: Start time, where to watch, injury report, betting odds
The Indiana Pacers kick off their 2023-24 regular season on Wednesday night as they welcome the Washington Wizards to town. Last season, Washington beat Indiana 114-107 on opening night in Indianapolis, but the two teams split their four matchups throughout the year.
"They have some great scorers," Pacers wing Bruce Brown said of the Wizards. "The coaches prepared us well. We can't wait for tomorrow."

Pacers vs Wizards Injury Report
For the Pacers, no players are on the injury report. Their two-way contract players (Oscar Tshiebwe, Kendall Brown, and Isaiah Wong) are all listed as questionable due to their contract status.
"As of right now, everything seems to be in a good place," Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle said of his team's health on Tuesday.
For the Wizards, Landry Shamet (left toe), Johnny Davis (left elbow), and Anthony Gill (left hamstring) are out.
Key Matchup
Bennedict Mathurin vs Jordan Poole: The Wizards acquired Poole in the summer, and he averaged 19.3 points per game in the preseason for his new team. He can score with ease and get his shots off in bunches.
Making his life tough will be important for the Pacers, and Mathurin could draw the assignment throughout the game. Indiana's second-year guard has a big season coming his way, and he can get off on the right foot by outplaying Poole on opening night.
