Cade Cunningham Highlights Detroit Pistons' Injury Report vs. 76ers

Cade Cunningham could miss the Detroit Pistons' matchup against the 76ers on Tuesday.

UPDATE: Cade Cunningham is OUT on Tuesday.

Following their matchup with the Brooklyn Nets Saturday, the Detroit Pistons enjoyed a handful of days off in a row. They’ll be back in action Tuesday to take on one of the hottest teams in the NBA right now.

In the final game of their road trip, the Pistons head to Philadelphia to take on Joel Embiid and the 76ers. Heading into this matchup, the Sixers are riding a five-game win streak.

As the regular season comes to a close, the Pistons continue to have a laundry list of an injury report. The main name on their for Detroit is guard Cade Cunningham, who is questionable due to left knee injury management. The former No. 1 pick has been out the past three games, but the team remains hopeful that he’ll play again this season.

Aside from Cunningham, Simone Fontecchio, Quentin Grimes, Isaiah Stewart, Ausar Thompson, and Stanley Umude are out. Veteran forward Evan Fournier is also listed, but is probable against the Sixers.

The last time the Pistons faced off against the Sixers was back in December when the teams had a two-game mini-series. In the final matchup, Philly walked away with a 124-92 win. Embiid was the key standout from that game, posting 35 points and 13 rebounds in 29 minutes of action.

At this time, it is unknown if Embiid will be in action against the Pistons Tuesday. He is currently listed as questionable after sitting out the Sixers’ last matchup against the San Antonio Spurs. The reigning MVP made his long awaited return from a knee injury a week ago.
