Where NBA Fans Ranked Devin Booker, Other Suns Stars

Bleacher Report organized a voting for the NBA's Top 100 that allowed fans to rank the best in the league - here's where some Phoenix Suns ranked.

NBA rankings are like podcasts - everybody has one.

We're slowly but surely edging our way to the beginning of preseason activity in early October, and there's great expectations to see what the Phoenix Suns can do. With a lineup consisting of Devin Booker, Kevin Durant, Bradley Beal and Deandre Ayton, it's yet again championship or bust here in the Valley.

The Suns certainly have some of the best players in the league at their disposal - but where do they rank?

Bleacher Report recently released their own rankings for players, before allowing fan voting to construct their own Top 100.

Each Suns player finished lower in the fan voting when compared to B/R's list. Here's the results:

Where NBA Fans Ranked Devin Booker, Other Suns Stars

7. Kevin Durant

B/R's ranking: 8

Fans weren't too far off from Durant's original ranking, and there's hope the Suns forward can stay healthy after displaying just how crucial he can be in Phoenix. Durant - if anything else - provides excellent spacing for guys such as Devin Booker to work with on the floor. Durant's rim protection also was a boost for the Suns last season.

11. Devin Booker

B/R's ranking: 9

Again, not too far off from B/R's rankings, though Booker did technically drop out of the top ten in the fan voting. Booker put on an excellent display of scoring in the postseason and he only seems to be getting better as the years pile on. He's established himself as one of the best in the league, and that's reflected here.

37. Bradley Beal

B/R's ranking: 34

It will be interesting to see how Beal adjusts to new surroundings and likely a new role. For years, Beal was the primary scorer in Washington and was able to run the show at his will. With Durant and Booker alongside him, that will certainly change, though he's capable of making it work. Beal is believed to be handling point guard duties in Phoenix, so he'll at least factor in facilitating if nothing else.

64. Deandre Ayton

B/R's ranking: 54

This was the biggest gap in terms of where fans and Bleacher Report had Suns players ranked, as Ayton was a full ten spots down in fan voting. After a disappointing few seasons, Ayton saw a nice revival with the Bahamas national team this summer where he flashed the dominant mindset so many Suns fans hope to see on the court in league play. Frank Vogel also has an opportunity to right some of the wrongs done by previous coach Monty Williams in terms of relationship-building.
