Suns SG Devin Booker Reportedly Getting Signature Shoe
Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker is finally set to release his first signature shoe. The Nike D Book 1 is expected to be released in 2024 according to SneakerFiles.com.
"Booker has hinted towards a signature shoe coming, and some reports expected a release to take place in 2023. Known as the Nike D Book 1, the first colorway will launch in Spring 2024." - SneakerFiles
Due to Booker's liking of the Nike Kobe line, his signature shoe very well may be in low-top form while he will also most likely have his own logo on it.
Booker’s partnership with Nike started in 2015 but he never has had his own signature shoe. Plenty of Booker's player exclusives came in the form of Kobe's famous line of basketball shoes.
The Nike D Book 1 is expected to be released during the spring of 2024 at select retailers and Nike.com.
All the superstars in the NBA have a signature shoe whether it's LeBron James, Kevin Durant or Steph Curry, Booker joins some elite company. Even rival Luka Doncic recently had one release with Jordan.
Throughout his career, Booker has always been a star but has never really reached mega-superstar status like some of the aforementioned names. Having a signature shoe is a huge step in that direction.
With Durant on the Suns, there is a very real possibility that Phoenix will be competing in the NBA Finals over these next couple of years, which will also boost Booker's popularity across the globe.
