The Phoenix Suns' season is now over.

Their Game 6 meltdown against the Denver Nuggets cemented their status as postseason losers, dropping their series in 4-2 fashion against the West's No. 1 seed.

It was an ultimate disappointment considering a few factors, one of which was the acquisition of Kevin Durant that failed to produce immediate results.

Another was the play on Devin Booker - in multiple facets. Booker hit historic numbers during majority of the series that placed him in company with Michael Jordan and LeBron James.

However, his 12 points on 4-13 shooting in Game 6 was largely uncharacteristic of Booker and the standards he set for himself.

Was Booker dealing with an injury? He wasn't on the team's injury report leading up to Game 6 but did apparently suffer a minor ankle/foot injury in the first quarter of Game 5. He finished the game with no problem and said he was fine afterwards.

After Game 6, Suns coach Monty Williams said Booker was probably dealing with something.

"I haven't gotten a medical report on that. But I think he is dealing with some soreness just watching him," Williams said.

"He didn't have that same pop and he's just too tough of a guy to admit when he's feeling something, but there's nothing official as far as an injury is concerned. He just was toughing it out and finally I just took him out of the game."

Booker was not available to reporters following Game 6 and also did not speak at the end of season media session today.
