Suns Will Have to Make Franchise History to Erase Series Deficit vs Nuggets

In this story:
If there was any time to make history for the Phoenix Suns, that time is now.
The Denver Nuggets enter Friday's Game 3 up 2-0 over Monty Williams and company, with a knockout blow threatening to happen at some point over the weekend. Teams that go up 3-0 are 149-0 in securing a series victory while teams with a 3-1 lead are 264-13.
Simply put, the Suns really need to win both games on their home court this weekend.
The odds are certainly stacked against Phoenix, especially considering they are 0-13 when trailing 0-2 in a seven-game series:

Will the Suns be able to reverse course and make some history?
“I mean, the playoffs are a lot. A lot comes with it so you just have to embrace it, embrace the challenge, embrace the opportunity that have right now, even down 0-2," said Devin Booker following the Game 2 loss.
"Get back home and protect our homecourt and go from there. But, a lot is on all of our plates and that’s everybody throughout the playoffs right now.”
That will be awfully tough with Chris Paul out the lineup after straining his groin. Shams Charania reported yesterday the team is expecting Paul to miss potentially the next three games, as he's expected to be re-evaluated in a week.
The Suns put out an official statement saying Paul was day-to-day.
“I mean, whenever you lose your floor general, it is definitely a big loss. But this is a next man up league and I feel like we have more than enough to be able to sustain," Josh Okogie said on Paul's injury.
The Nuggets are -300 to win the series on SI Sportsbook but are +3.5 point underdogs heading into Game 3, which is Friday, May 5.
