Report: Bradley Beal Won't Play vs. Suns

In this story:
The Phoenix Suns will be without Devin Booker for the foreseeable future after the team announced today he would miss time (four weeks at least) with a groin strain.
Perhaps the playing field for tonight's contest with the Washington Wizards was slightly leveled.
NBA insider Shams Charania reports that Washington's Bradley Beal will miss tonight's game against Phoenix with a left hamstring issue. He is classified as day-to-day but could potentially return on Friday.
Sources: Washington Wizards star Bradley Beal will be day-to-day after MRI on his left hamstring. He will miss tonight’s game vs. Phoenix, and there’s optimism he will be available as soon as the Wizards’ next contest on Friday in Orlando.

It's a potentially big break for the Suns, who have been dealing with injuries themselves throughout the course of the season. Phoenix stopped a three-game losing streak by defeating the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday.
The first loss of the now defunct streak was thanks to a 113-110 Wizards victory last week at the Footprint Center. Beal scored 27 points and also contributed six rebounds and six assists.
A win over the Suns tonight would mark Washington's second three-game winning streak of the season after wins over the Kings and 76ers.
