The Phoenix Suns are set to host the Los Angeles Clippers in the first round of the NBA playoffs. 

Below is information sent by the organization to prepare Suns fans for their expected game day experience for Games 1 and 2 vs. Los Angeles at the Footprint Center:

GENERAL FAN INFORMATION

  • Doors will open to fans two hours before tipoff for the entire 2023 postseason for fans to stock up at the team shop and enjoy the playoff atmosphere before the game.
  • Limited tickets remain available at Suns.com/TIX.
  • The Suns will have photo walls to capture the playoff hype on the Footprint Center plaza and inside the Pavilion.
  • Young Suns fans can enjoy several Kids Zones around the arena to make signs for the game, play basketball on inflatable basketball hoops and more.
  • Fans can visit Suns.com OR download the Suns App for game previews, editorial stories and the latest news on the team this postseason.

APRIL 16 IS PHOENIX SUNS DAY

  • The Arizona State Legislature formally proclaimed that April 16 as Phoenix Suns Day to celebrate the team’s start of the 2023 postseason. More information can be found here.

NEW PLAYOFF MERCH

  • The Suns are debuting seven new apparel styles for the first round of the playoffs available at the Team Shop at Footprint Center.
  • The shop is open Monday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. except on event/game days when the Team Shop will close five hours prior to game or event start.
  • Several designs were created in-house by Centercourt Creative, the Suns and Mercury internal creative department.
  • Five pieces were designed in collaboration with Tempe-based apparel brand Sportique.

SUNS UNVEIL NEW BRAND VIDEO

  • Ahead of the first game of the 2023 playoffs, the Suns debuted a new brand video. It can be viewed HERE.

HALFTIME ENTERTAINMENT

  • Round 1 Game 1 will feature a live halftime performance by rapper and songwriter MIMS. His debut single, “This Is Why I’m Hot” reached No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard Top 100 in 2006 on its way to becoming certified platinum.
  • Round 2 Game 2 will feature a live halftime performance by Roscoe Dash known for his music with hip-hops biggest stars including Big Sean and Wale.
  • Throughout the game, fans will enjoy live performances from Suns Dancers, Hype Squad and the NBA’s favorite mascot, the Gorilla.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH

  • As a part of the Suns’ commitment to the community it represents, Phoenix Suns Charities will be hosting local nonprofit organizations at each game throughout the 2023 postseason through its community ticket donation program.
  • For game 1, the Suns will be highlighting Special Olympics Arizona – if interested in speaking with a representative, please contact mramirez@suns.com

ROAD GAME RALLIES ARE BACK

  • The festive Road Game Rally watch parties at Footprint Center are back by popular demand.
  • Doors and concessions for Road Game Rallies will open 45 minutes before tip-off.
  • Tickets for Round 1 Road Game Rallies will be $10 and are on sale now at Suns.com/TIX.
  • Additional dates will be added as the postseason progresses. All tickets are general admission, with seats throughout the arena available on a first-come, first-served basis.

RALLY THE VALLEY DOWNTOWN

  • The crosswalks at 1st Street and Jefferson Ave. will be painted overnight on Saturday and completed by 8 a.m. on Sunday. Gorilla will be onsite at the crosswalks at 1:15 p.m. on Sunday prior to the game if you’d like to capture any content with him (b-roll will be available upon request).
  • The crosswalks are being painted in partnership with the Arizona Governor’s Office of Highway Safety as part of a multi-year partnership to promote pedestrian safety through their Heads Up campaign.
  • The crosswalks on Jefferson and 2nd and 3rd Streets will be painted in the next few weeks as well.
