NBA World Reacts to Robert Sarver News

In this story:
On Wednesday, Phoenix Suns owner Robert Sarver publicly announced via press release his intentions to sell both the Suns and the Phoenix Mercury.
"But in our current unforgiving climate, it has become painfully clear that that is no longer possible – that whatever good I have done, or could still do, is outweighed by things I have said in the past. For those reasons, I am beginning the process of seeking buyers for the Suns and Mercury," said Sarver.
You can read his full statement here.
After details emerged of the NBA's investigation into Sarver (which found repeated use of racial slurs and sexist comments to employees and players), it felt as if it was only a matter of time until Sarver would sell his holdings in both organization.
Needless to say, after the news dropped, people around the league felt relieved.
"Cancel culture has punished my mere 18 years of racism and sexism by forcing me to earn a gigantic profit" -Robert Sarver

Robert Sarver's statement on selling is just as pathetic as you would expect it to be.

The POWER of the players. Words from NBA stars @CP3, @KingJames and @Money23Green as well as words from @ttremaglioNBPA in behalf of @TheNBPA certainly had a major impact on Robert Sarver waving the white flag to sell his stake in the Suns and Mercury. Speak out and dribble.

Legit pleasantly surprised that only PayPal had to pull out as a sponsor of the Suns for Robert Sarver to decide to sell the team. Also didn’t hurt how NBAPA blasted him on National TV and Bron. The real warriors are the ones who shared their horrific accounts of working there.

I don’t care that the Suns made 0 substantial moves to improve this offseason, this offseason is now an absolute win.

Getting rid of Robert Sarver is the best thing that could have happened to this team.

I pride myself and think of myself as a man of faith, as there's a drive into deep left field by Castellanos and that'll be a home run. And so that'll make it a 4-0 ballgame.
