The wait is finally over for Phoenix Suns fans.

NBA insider Shams Charania confirmed today that forward Kevin Durant would be making his return in action against the Minnesota Timberwolves tomorrow night. He did not recently travel with the team on their road trip.

Durant first arrived to Phoenix with a sprained MCL that ultimately kept him out of action for six weeks, dating back to his time with the Brooklyn Nets

Upon his eventual return, Durant played three games and led Phoenix to a perfect 3-0 record before eventually slipping and spraining his ankle in pregame warmups prior to his home debut.

When healthy, Durant and Devin Booker have already proved to be one of the top duos in the league. They recorded the fourth-most points for a new tandem within their first three games together, falling behind Wilt Chamberlain and various teammates on the list.

The Suns recently snapped their losing ways over the weekend and have now won two games in a row. A win over the Timberwolves would mark their first three-game winning streak since earlier in the month.

Deandre Ayton also recently returned from injury as well, giving the Suns a fully healthy lineup right before the postseason begins.

Seven games are left in the regular season and Phoenix currently sits with a 40-35 record, good enough for the No. 4 seed in the Western Conference.

Opening tip is scheduled for shortly after 7:00 pm PST.
