Tonight, the Oklahoma City Thunder and Minnesota Timberwolves will face off in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals.

Through two games, OKC holds a 2-0 lead, largely due to impressive third-quarter showings that would see its lead blossom to double-digit figures in both. As of now, the Thunder are a +41 in the series.

Saturday’s matchup will be a pivotal one, as Anthony Edwards and Minnesota will look to fend off the essentially-insurmountable 3-0 deficit.

Here are live updates for Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals:

Game 3 tips off at 7:30 p.m. CT

First Quarter: Timberwolves 34, Thunder 14

Minnesota weathered a few early buckets from Oklahoma City, and has gotten off to the hotter start overall, jumping out to an 18-9 start behind Anthony Edwards hot shooting.

The Timberwolves have continued to be the agresser on both ends, forcing uncharacterstic OKC turnovers and turning it to offense. Following an Alex Caruso 3-pointer, the lead would stand at just 25-12.

All in all, Minnesota dominated the opening frame with intensity and energy, coasting to an early 20-point lead.

Half: Timberwolves 72, Thunder 41

Minnesota weathered a mini-run to start frame, and continued to pout it on, bolstering their lead as high as 28 with a Mike Conley 3-pointer.

Minnesota dominated the first half from beginning to end, leading in steals, rebounds, assists, paint points, fastbreak points and plenty more. Edwards led the way with 20 points on 8-for-11 shooting, but it was a team effort in every sense.

The Thunder struggled mightily all over, with the leading scorer being Jalen Wiliams with 11 points on 2-for-7 shooting. MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander added just nine points on 3-for-10 shooting.

Third Quarter: Timberwolves 107, Thunder 70

Oklahoma City opened the quarter with an 11-2 run to breath hope, which was then countered by another white-hot 20-4 run from Minnesota. With just four minutes remaining in the third quarter, the Wolves lead, 94-56.

Edwards has pushed the lead even further, offering up 30 points on 12-for-17 shooting, all before the fourth quarter. Minnesota leads, 105-63, in a potential series-altering show.

The essential white flag would be waived by OKC in the third, with a largely bench-led unit finishing the frame.

Final: Timberwolves 143, Thunder 101

It was more of the same in the final frame, with players like Ousmane Dieng, Ajay Mitchell, Rob Dillingham, Luka Garza, Leonard Miller and plenty more trying to show off their various skills.
