The Oklahoma City Thunder have drafted well in recent memory.

After winning less than 25 games for two consecutive seasons, Sam Presti and company turned the Thunder's fortunes around through a few solid draft picks. Additions like Chet Holmgren, Jalen Williams and others became instant contributors, helping OKC improve from 24 wins in 2021-22 to 40 wins in 2022-23.

The Thunder's strong drafting has continued to help the team remain competitive, even though Oklahoma City hasn't had a top-10 pick since 2022.

Bleacher Report seems to agree that OKC has been one of the NBA's top teams at the draft, ranking five Thunder players in the top 60 of the outlet's recent redraft, which featured players the 2021-2025 draft classes.

The first Oklahoma City player taken in Bleacher Report's redraft was Jalen Williams at No. 7.

Williams is coming off am injury riddled 2025-26 season that saw the No. 12 pick in the 2022 draft average 17.1 points, 5.5 assists, 4.6 rebounds and 1.2 steals per game while shooting 48.4% from the field and 29.9% from 3-point range.

The 25-year-old appeared in just 33 games after a wrist surgery from the summer of 2025 held Williams out to start the season before hamstring injuries sidelined the talented wing later in the year.

In 2024-25, though, Williams averaged 21.6 points, 5.3 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 1.6 steals per game while shooting 48.4% from the field and 36.5% from beyond the arc, helping the Thunder win an NBA title and earning All-Star, All-Defense and All-NBA recognition along the way.

Chet Holmgren was selected two picks later at No. 9 overall, one spot behind Cleveland's Evan Mobley. Holmgren is coming off the best season of his three-year NBA career, averaging 17.1 points, 8.9 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.9 blocks per game while shooting 55.7% from the field and 36.2% from deep.

While the No. 2 overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft didn't have a strong end to the season, faltering in the postseason against the San Antonio Spurs, Holmgren played well for most of the campaign.

The next Thunder player selected in Bleacher Report's redraft was Ajay Mitchell, who was picked at No. 28 overall.

Mitchell enjoyed a breakout second season in 2025-26 after being picked in the second round of the 2024 NBA Draft. The former UC Santa Barbara guard averaged 13.6 points, 3.6 assists and 3.3 rebounds and 1.2 steals per game while shooting 48.5% from the field and 34.7% from 3-point range.

Cason Wallace was picked No. 35 overall and Jared McCain was selected at No. 56, as well as former Thunder guard Josh Giddey, who was picked No. 31.
