As the February trade deadline approaches, the Los Angeles Lakers who have sat atop the standings most of the season will have a chance to make some upgrades. The Lakers have already been reportedly interested in Detroit Pistons guard Derrick Rose, as well as Memphis Grizzlies forward Andre Iguodala. SI’s NBA writer Ben Pickman believes the purple and gold should absolutely make a play for Rose and believes that if they were able to land both Rose and Iguodala; a team that has already shown flashes of greatness, could be on the verge of dominance.
