The play-in for the eighth seed in the Eastern and the Western conferences has led to a raising of the stakes for some games. The Western Conference is much more competitive for the eighth seed as the "regular season" wraps up in the Orlando bubble with Portland, Phoenix, Memphis, and San Antonio all vying for a spot in the playoffs.
