Chris Paul Reveals New Mindset After Joining Warriors

Chris Paul was one of the Warriors' biggest adversaries.

If there's one thing that feels inevitable in the modern NBA, it's that players will always somehow end up joining their biggest rival teams. That statement was proven true just this off-season when the Golden State Warriors acquired Chris Paul.

Besides LeBron James, Chris Paul is arguably the Golden State Warriors' biggest rival. From his days on the LA Clippers, to his days on the Houston Rockets, and even his days on the Phoenix Suns, Paul seemed to always be in the Warriors' way. Now, after joining the Warriors, Paul has a different mindset about his former adversary.

"It happens around this league all the time," Paul said on NBA Today with ESPN. "It's probably the first time I've been in a situation like that, but when you get there on the court with guys that are like-minded and love to play the game the same way I love to, I'm excited about it. It's always a new process when you going to a new team, I've done it a number of times now. I'm definitely excited about this because these guys know what it's all about. They've been there, they've won, over and over again. So, I'm glad to be a part of that process."

Out of all the current off-season moves that have been made, Chris Paul to the Golden State Warriors definitely has the biggest question mark. It's not hard to see how Marcus Smart would fit on the Grizzlies, or how Porzingis would fit on the Celtics, but it's very hard to picture how Chris Paul would look on one of the fastest-paced offenses in the NBA. Whether it turns out good or bad, it's going to make for exciting basketball.
