Chris Paul Shares Hilarious Story About Workout With Steph Curry

During a recent episode of the Sloane Knows podcast, Golden State Warriors guard Chris Paul shared a hilarious story about one of his first workouts with Steph Curry as teammates.

"I remember me and Steph worked out together in Vegas, and a few of the coaches walked in. They saw me in Warriors gear and they were like, 'This is crazy. Who would've thought?' The fact that we all can talk about it and it's not like it's some secret... is really cool. Because it's like that with my family, everybody who has been supporting me for all these years."

Paul was responding to a question about whether or not the younger version of himself would ever believe he would play for the Warriors. Having faced off with Golden State as a rival for so many years, Paul never envisioned himself playing for them, which is something he said everyone around him can laugh about now.

This story about one of Paul's first workouts with Curry was hilarious, because while the two point guards were able to quickly put all of their previous battles behind them, Warriors coaches just seeing Paul in Golden State gear was enough to acknowledge how strange it all was.

For Paul, he is happy this is something everyone can laugh about when they realize how bizarre it is.
