Former Warriors Player Slams Team for Enabling Draymond Green's Behavior

Former Golden State Warriors forward Nick Young called them out

Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green was ejected again on Tuesday night, making it his third ejection of the season. Almost certain to get suspended for this incident as well, as he spun around and struck Jusuf Nurkic in the face, Green could once again put his team in a difficult spot.

During an appearance on FS1's Undisputed, former Warriors forward Nick Young slammed the team for enabling Green's behavior for this long.

"For sure," Young said when asked if Green's shot on Nurkic was over the edge. "You only see stuff like this in UFC. But they let Draymond be Draymond for too long. He cussed out [Kevin Durant], got into it with Jordan Poole. [The Warriors] helped create this. You let him get away with so much, Draymond is gonna continue to be Draymond."

Young said with Andre Iguodala gone, the Warriors have nobody left to help control Green, which doesn't help the already enabling culture they have let grow. This is a fair point from Young, considering Green has faced very minimal punishment from the Warriors over the years for his antics, but it's also a tough situation to navigate.

The league will almost certainly step in and take action against Green this time, which will come not long after handing him a five game suspension for choking Rudy Gobert.
