Golden State Warriors Reportedly Open to Trading All-Star

The Warriors are reportedly open to making big moves.

After a poor start to the season, it seems as if the Golden State Warriors have finally had enough. They're finally willing to trade major pieces, one of them being Andrew Wiggins.

NBA insider Marc Stein spoke on the #thisleague UNCUT podcast, where he opened up about the Warriors trading Andrew Wiggins.

"When I talk to other teams more and more, I'm hearing that there's an anticipation now that the Warriors will be open to trading Andrew Wiggins," Stein said. "Because Wiggins and Kuminga, when they've played together, the Warriors would be the first to tell you it hasn't gone well."

As the season has progressed, it's becoming more and more clear that the Warriors need to lean toward younger players like Brandin Podziemski and Jonathan Kuminga as opposed to their older players like Andrew Wiggins. Wiggins has struggled tremendously throughout the season, to the point where he lost his starting spot and is starting to become a negative asset on the court.

The biggest concern for the Golden State Warriors this season is their inability to hold double-digit leads. Time after time, this team has had double-digit leads on teams like the Nuggets or the Clippers, but they still found a way to lose at the end of games. It's hard to see whether a trade fixes that, but maybe it can hopefully breathe new life into the team.
