Warriors Champion Slams Disrespectful Klay Thompson Take

In this story:
Golden State Warriors star Klay Thompson was recently named on a list of the NBA's most overpaid players. While Thompson may not be the player he once was, his contributions to Golden State's dynasty earned him his most recent contract, which is why former Warriors forward Juan Toscano-Anderson slammed his addition on this list:
Y’all really put a 4 time champ on an “overpaid” list … I hate the internet man😂😂😂 https://t.co/2BmlvuoPXG
— Juan Toscano Anderson (@juanonjuan10) September 6, 2023
Toscano-Anderson won a championship with Golden State in 2022, and isn't buying this list that names Thompson the 3rd most overpaid player in NBA history. As previously mentioned, Thompson is not the player he once was; however, most of the names on this list include players who did not suit up many games for the teams they signed big deals with. Whether this was due to injuries or poor play, many of the players on this list hardly played for their respective teams, which make them understandable additions.
Thompson is a much different case than most of the names on this list. While injuries sidelined him during a big contract, he was able to come back from those injuries and contribute to a championship. That alone should disqualify him from being talked about as one of the most overpaid players in NBA history, even if he was making big money while sidelined with major injuries.
Defending his former teammate, Toscano-Anderson isn't having this overpaid talk for Thompson.
