WATCH: Steph Curry Makes Incredible Four-Point Play vs. Rockets
The Golden State Warriors are facing the Houston Rockets on Monday night, and superstar point guard Steph Curry is impressing fans like he always does. With the game clock winding down to close the first half, Curry made an incredible shot and got fouled for a four-point play:
Curry made the free throw which gave him 11 points to end the half. Taking just four shots in the first half, Curry was not as aggressive as he usually is, but this can also be a product of Golden State's offensive game plan that doesn't always prioritize keeping the ball in his hands.
The team leader in field goal attempts in the first half was Klay Thompson who shot 10 times, and he was followed by Wiggins with eight field goal attempts, and Dario Saric with five. While the shot distribution may not be what the Warriors were hoping for, they did enter halftime with a 10-point lead.
Playing a Rockets team that has been much more competitive this season than in previous years, the Warriors know they do not just have a free win in front of them. The Rockets play hard and have some very talented players, which makes any matchup against them a tough one.
With a player like Curry, the Warriors will always be a tough team to stop themselves.
