Steph Curry Reacts to Klay Thompson's Historical Game vs. Rockets

It was another historical performance for Klay Thompson in Friday night's game vs. the Houston Rockets. The Golden State Warriors guard finished with 12 threes, breaking his tie with Steph Curry for the most games in NBA history with at least 12 makes from deep.

Now standing alone as the only player in NBA history with at least three games of at least 12 made threes, Thompson received a congratulatory post from his backcourt mate Steph Curry.

Thompson's ability to catch fire is arguably unlike anybody else in NBA history. With some of the greatest individual shooting performances the league has ever seen, Thompson's shooting prowess is likely only second to Steph Curry when it comes to ranking the best shooters in league history. Such debates are always contested, but Thompson has a real case for the second-best shooter in NBA history, only behind his splash brother Steph Curry.

The league has certainly missed out on far too many nights like this from Klay Thompson due to major injuries that robbed him of two full seasons; however, performances like this are even more incredible when considering what he has bounced back from. Perhaps lost in the greatness of Thompson's performance is the fact that Golden State was also in desperate need of a win. Down Curry, Green, and Wiggins, the team got a historical showing from Klay Thompson who once again put Golden State on his back.
