Untold Story of Kobe Bryant's Belief in Steph Curry

In this story:
An NBA legend, but also an elite evaluator of basketball talent, Kobe Bryant saw something special in Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry. During a recent episode of Uninterrupted's The Shop, rapper Killer Mike shared an untold story about Kobe's belief in Curry, and how the Lakers legend knew he was the future.
Recalling a story of the time he met Kobe Bryant, Killer Mike said he asked the Lakers legend which NBA player he should follow after Kobe retired. According to Killer Mike, Kobe said, "It's this kid if he can stay healthy, because he's skinny… I'm watching him. But I think he's who you should follow. He's this kid named Steph Curry."
Killer Mike said that's when he started watching Curry and the Warriors, saying the superstar point guard has not let him down. Bryant was a known fan of Curry and his game, but this untold story helped illuminate the belief Bryant had in the Warriors guard, not only knowing he would be great, but knowing he was the future of the NBA.
What a lot of people forget about Steph Curry, is that he was not supposed to become this great. While he was a lottery pick, other players from his draft were much more highly touted, and this became even more pronounced when Curry was dealing with injury issues to begin his career. Overcoming all of that, Curry become one of the greatest players in NBA history, just like Kobe Bryant knew he would.
