It was reported on Friday that the Golden State Warriors will be meeting with free agent center Dwight Howard as they look to round out their roster before training camp. While Howard has of course generated a lot of headlines, the Warriors are reportedly also considering former Los Angeles Lakers first round pick Tony Bradley for that spot, per Jason Dumas of KRON4 News.

Bradley was selected 28th overall by the Lakers in 2017, but was dealt to the Utah Jazz for Thomas Bryant and Josh Hart. Playing three seasons with the Jazz, Bradley was then traded to the Detroit Pistons where he was quickly flipped to the Philadelphia 76ers. Bradley played just 20 games for Philadelphia before being sent to the Oklahoma City Thunder where he played just 22 games.

After bouncing around during the 2020-21 season, Bradley signed with the Chicago Bulls where he found a a bit more stability. Appearing in 67 games for Chicago from 2021-2023, Bradley averaged just 8.7 minutes per game before being waived. Now a free agent, the 6'10" big man is reportedly being considered by Golden State.

Still just 25 years old, Bradley could have utility as a depth big for the Warriors if they choose not to go with Howard for that spot. Considering all their options, the Warriors will likely make a decision on who to give this spot to by the time training camp concludes.
