Warriors Give Major Update on Andrew Wiggins' Return to Court

In this story:
Golden State Warriors forward Andrew Wiggins has returned from his extended personal absence, and has begun ramping up his conditioning in preparation for a return to the court. There was some hope amongst Warriors fans that Wiggins would be able to return before the end of the regular season, but that has now been ruled out, as any return will come in postseason play.
Steve Kerr recently revealed that Wiggins will not play in the team's final two regular season games, and reiterated again on Thursday afternoon that the team is going to use the remainder of the regular season to ramp up his conditioning.

Kerr said if this was for the regular season, they’d give Wiggins a few weeks to ramo up. Since they don’t have that time, they’re trying to do it as quick as possible, while keeping Wiggins safe.
If the Warriors can secure a top-six seed and avoid the play-in tournament, it will give Wiggins extra time to get ready for the playoffs. Should they wind up in the play-in tournament, that will certainly limit the amount of time that Wiggins would have to get ready for any postseason play.
While a return date for Wiggins has not been revealed by the Warriors, it does seem reasonable to assume that he would be available for game one of the first round of the playoffs - as Kerr indicated that the team understands they have a limited amount of time to get him ready.
For now, the good news is that Wiggins is back in the building, and preparing for a return.
