In a report from Dalton Johnson of NBC Sports Bay Area, it was announced that the Golden State Warriors will be losing Shaun Livingston. As Johnson noted, the former Warriors guard spent the last three seasons as Golden State's director of players affairs and engagement. Johnson said Livingston's decision to leave is so he can spend more time with his family.

This is another major loss for the Warriors, who already lost Bob Myers earlier this offseason. There are so many vital members of an NBA organization that are not well-known or covered, and Livingston was one of those for the Warriors. A key part of three Warriors titles, Livingston spent five seasons with the organization as a player, and the last three as a member of their front office.

Johnson added in his report that Livingston will no longer be living in the Bay Area as he transitions into this next chapter of his life. While the Warriors will undoubtedly feel this loss, Livingston will always be an important piece to their organization, and someone who will be remembered for his contributions on and off the court.

It's currently unclear how the Warriors plan to fill Livingston's absence, whether it be with an external option, or internally like they did with the promotion of Mike Dunleavy Jr. into Bob Myers' old position.
