Kyle Kuzma Shares Keys To A Wizards Victory Over The Bucks

After the Wizards loss to the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday night, Kyle Kuzma weighed in on what the Wizards need to change to win tonight.

The Washington Wizards hung in there with the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday night but as we've seen way too much this season, the Wizards fell apart in the fourth quarter.

A huge reason for the fourth quarter meltdown was a lineup change that sent Tyus Jones, Kyle Kuzma, and Bilal Coulibaly to the bench when they cut the Bucks 10-point lead to two. Particularly, Tyus Jones who finished with 18-points didn’t play at all in the fourth quarter. All of these factors led to a Wizards 142-129 loss. Additionally Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo finished with 42 points on 20-23 shooting.

After the game, Inside the Wizards staff writer Carita Parks spoke to Kuzma about  changes that need to be made for the Wizards to have a different outcome against the Bucks tonight.

"We just need to, you know, make a few adjustments, you know, do a better job. making Giannis' looks a little bit easier," Kuzma said. "I think in the first half he was 10 for 11 and then you know, figuring out what we want to do with that pick and roll. I think it hurt us a little bit. Offensive rebounding or defensive rebounding, we got to do a better job. And then you know, just closing odds for their shooters. It's tough, you gotta guard Giannis or Dame, and you gotta be in the gaps. It's a make or miss league so closing out better and just overall effort."

It will still be a tough game but hopefully the Wizards can learn from their mistakes and come away with a better outcome.
