Shocking News For Wizards This Month

Why The Wizards May Not Win A Game This Month

We are already in February of 2024. The NBA Season seems to fly by each and every year. It really goes by fast right after the NBA Allstar Weekend. The reason behind that may be due to the fact that most teams around the league tend to get into playoff mode. They are ready to begin their postseason run at a championship.

Meanwhile for the Wizards, they don’t have postseason or championship dreams this season. It simply doesn’t seem to be in the plans as the season goes on and it may be getting worst for them throughout the month of February.

Every team the Wizards will face this month have NBA Championship dreams and expectations slated on them. Those teams include the LA Lakers, who are always in the hunt with Lebron James on their roster. The Golden State Warriors, who have dominated the league over the last couple of seasons. The Cleveland Cavaliers are on the schedule a couple of times. They are a top five team in the East. The Oklahoma City Thunder have the best record in the Western Conference. Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks are on the schedule too. Then there’s Phoenix who now have a healthy Bradley Beal in the lineup, the Philadelphia 76ers, the New Orleans Pelicans, the Boston Celtics who currently hold the best record in the league, and the defending NBA Champions Denver Nuggets.

They have already lost to the Miami Heat at home too so this doesn’t help the situation here. The only game they may be able to go into feeling confident has to be the Philadelphia 76ers game with Joel Embiid injured. Hopefully the outlook for the month of February isn’t reality. However, the truth of the matter is the Wizards have a really difficult schedule ahead of them.
