Steph Curry, Golden State Warriors Run Away from Washington Wizards in Jordan Poole's Homecoming

The Washington Wizards kept the game tight for a while, but the Golden State Warriors eventually pulled away, winning 129-118.

Steph Curry lit the Washington Wizards (5-23) up during the Golden State Warriors (14-14) 129-118 win in front of a sold-out crowd.

It was only a two-point game at halftime, but the Wizards were unable to keep the game close as the Warriors made 11 three-pointers in the second half.

To put more sting into the loss, Washington forward Kyle Kuzma left the game in the third quarter with right knee soreness and didn't return.

Wizards guard Jordan Poole tried, a little too hard at times, to impress in his return to Golden State.

He ended up with 25 points, but it was a very inefficient night shooting as he only shot 33 percent from the floor.

Not to mention Poole went an abysmal 3-12 from three-point range.

On the other side, the Warriors shot 40 percent from three and made 18 of them.

Golden State's dynamic duo of guard Steph Curry and forward Klay Thompson combined for 11 of those.

Curry went for 30 points after only having three at the end of the first quarter and not even playing in the fourth quarter.

He is the greatest three-point shooter to ever play in the NBA and Washington got a front row seat to exactly what he can do tonight.

Eight threes tonight for Curry tonight and honestly the Wizards are lucky the Warriors great didn't have more.

At first Washington looked like they might have a good game from the perimeter defensively but after Golden State got their pick-and-roll game going with lobs inside the shooters started running wide open.

The Warriors also dominated the Wizards in the rebounding department with a 57-39 margin.

This comes as no surprise for anyone that has been following Washington this year.

Rebounding and defense continue to be issues with little to no improvements for the Wizards.

Washington is finally done with the west coast road trip to the delight of many fans back on the east coast and will be back at home December 26th against the Orlando Magic.
