WASHINGTON DC-The Washington Wizards (31-34) tool on the Atlanta Hawks (32-33) in the first game of a two-game home stand and both games will be against Atlanta. This game was the second game of the season series between Atlanta and Washington.

Season Series So Far..

The Wizards won the first matchup 119-116 to take a early series lead 1-0. Bradley Beal scored 37 points in the win. Kyle Kuzma scored 28 points for the Wizards. Trae Young scored a team-high 31 points in the loss.

Round 2…

The Wizards won their last game against Detroit 119-117. The Wizards were on a one-game winning streak and hoping to extend that to two games. The Hawks maintain the lead throughout the first half until the last minute when the Wizards took the lead before the half 61-58.

The Wizards would push their lead out to a game-high 15 points but it would not be enough as the Hawks would crawl all the way back to win 122-120. Trae Young led the Hawks with 28 points and 10 assists in the win. Kristaps Porzingis would drop his career-high 43 points in the loss. Kyle Kuzma had 25 points and 10 rebounds, while Bradley Beal scored 24 points and dished out eight assists. Here is what Wizards Head Coach Wes Unseld Jr said after the game ⬇️⬇️⬇️

The Wizards (31-35) will host the Atlanta Hawks (33-33) Friday, March 10 at 7:00 PM EST.
