Wizards Injury Update Against 76ers

The Washington Wizards have had their fair share of injuries to start the season. Tonight, taking on the Philadelphia 76ers, all Wizards will be available to play. Earlier it was noted that Deni Avdija (ankle), (Daniel Gafford (ankle), and Corey Kispert (ankle) were listed as questionable.

Moments ago, the Wizards announced that they will all be available.

This is big news for the team. The Wizards are currently struggling to start the season. One big reason is they haven’t seemed to get rid of the injury bug. Not having a consistent starting line-up can certainly diminish the chances of winning and the inability to completely game plan.

Tonight, it feels like the Wizards are sensing the urgency to come out strong against a very dominant Philadelphia 76ers team.

So far, Mondays have been a tough game day for the Washington Wizards. Last week, they faced the Boston Celtics. Now this week on a Monday, they face the 76ers. Despite the trade of James Harden, the 76ers are still full of star power and energy to start off the year. The Sixers are also injury free at the moment.

The news that all players are available won’t make this matchup any easier per se. The Wizards still have a tough battle and will need to play strategic, defensive basketball. One key will be to stay out of foul trouble early which will be difficult taking on the reigning NBA MVP Joel Embiid’s team. The Wizards do have an increased chance of making this game more competitive with their players available.
