After the game Coach Wes Unseld Jr., Corey Kispert and Daniel Gafford spoke to the media. Below are a few notable quotes from the postgame conference.
Coach Wes Unseld Jr.
"Of course, it bothered us and you know, no excuse, obviously back-to-back is always hard and it gets very physical and an aggressive team makes it a little bit more difficult."
"It's doing your work early, kind of reading the fly of the ball. There's a number of things that go into [rebounding and boxing out], but it's been an issue and it's something that we're aware of. Something that we, you know, we harp on and there's no, schematics to boxing out. You know there's individual technique, but there's not a of course, you could do box out drills and things like that."
Corey Kispert
"It doesn't really matter. It's our job to stay locked in the whole game no matter what. So, First half, second-half, you know, whole game, no game. It's my job to be as locked in as possible for as long as I can."
Daniel Gafford
"I'm going to make up for my mistakes and I'm going to make up, you know, just pretty much anything that we're lacking at the end of the day, you know, I try to be the energy guy. I want to be the anchor of the defense, and I just want to be in the position to where it can help us win the games."
