Porzingis & Beal Combined for 77 Points Against The Warriors

OAKLAND-The Washington Wizards hit the road to take on Golden State Warriors in their first game of a three-game road trip right before the All-Star break. This game would be the final game of the season series between Golden State and Washington. The Warriors had a 1-0 lead in the season series coming into the game.
Season Series So Far...
Game 1 Golden State defeated Washington 127-118 in Washington. Steph Curry had a game-high 41 points with seven rebounds while shooting 6 for 15 from behind the arch. Jordan Poole scored 32 points with seven rebounds. Draymond Green (17 points) & Andrew Wiggins (14 points) help push the Warriors to victory. For Washington, Kristaps Porzingis had a team-high 32 points. Monte Morris scored 17 points with a game-high 10 assists and Kyle Kuzma scored 16 points while collecting 11 rebounds.
Warriors Fight Back And Cruise...
The Wizards won their last game 127-113 against Indiana and had a two-game winning streak, but the Warriors would put that streak on hold. The Wizards had controlled the game for the majority of the first half, then with 2:11 left in the first half Klay Thompson gave the Warriors the lead for good. Golden State would sweep the season series 2-0 with a 135-126 win. Andrew Wiggins had a team-high 29 points while Klay Thompson scored 27 points. Donte DiVincenzo (17 points), JaMychal Green (14 points), Jordan Poole (14 points) and Kevon Looney (13 points) with a team-high 13 rebounds help push the Warriors to the win.
For Washington, Kristaps Porzingis had a game-high 34 points. Bradley Beal scores 33 points while Kendrick Nunn dropped 13 points in the loss. The Wizards gave away a 15-point lead. The absence of Kyle Kuzma is truly felt.
Next Stop…
Washington (26-30) will stay on the road heading to the Moda Center to take on the Portland Trailblazers (28-29) at 10:00 PM EST on Tuesday, February 14.
