When one may go on a job interview, there is always that list of qualifications. Along that list is your job skills. But one important list is your job references. In fact, it very well may be the most important list on one’s resume.

They say it’s not what you know, but who you know. New Wizards President of Basketball Operations Michael Winger is coming from the LA Clippers. The Clippers may be looking to shake up a few things with their roster. It helps the Wizards because Winger has a great relationship with many of those players whom he traded for and signed. These guys include Kawhi Leonard and even Paul George.

Will Dawkins who has been named the General Manager of the Wizards too comes from a very good situation. He has spent the last 15 seasons in Oklahoma City with the Thunder. The Thunder have a plethora of picks so this gives the Wizards options. They could explore the relationships that Michael Winger has and get established star players and even role players as well. Or, they could explore the relationships Will Dawkins have and try to acquire some draft picks from the Thunder. To make matters even better, Will Dawkins also has a relationship with the great Kevin Durant. The Wizards would love to bring him there. There is much beauty and convenience within this Washington Wizards front office.
