WASHINGTON-The Washington Wizards (34-42) faced the Orlando Magic (32-44) tonight in game 2 of a two-game home stint before heading back on the road Sunday to take on the Knicks. This game was the fourth & final game of the season series between Orlando & Washington.

Season Series So Far…

Washington won the first matchup 119-100. Washington won game two 138-118. Former Wizard Rui Hachimura had a game-high 30 points while collecting five rebounds. Kyle Kuzma scored 25 points while grabbing 10 rebounds for Washington. Bradley Beal & Kristaps Porzingis respectively scored 17 points a piece in the victory. Orlando won game three 122-112 last week to bring the series a little closer.

The Finale…

The Wizards lead the season series 2-1 coming into this final contest. The Wizards were on a one-game winning streak entering the night but unfortunately for Washington, it would not last. Orlando would tie the season series at 2-2 in this final game. The Magic took the lead late in the fourth quarter for the first time and never let it go winning 116-109. Magic rookie and last year's #1 overall pick, Paolo Banchero scored a game-high 30 points and grabbed 12 rebounds. Teammate and 2017 #1 overall draft, Markelle Fultz dropped 25 points in the win.

For Washington, Corey Kispert scored a team-high 27 points. Delon Wright (21 points) and Daniel Gafford (18 points,13 rebounds) contributed to the Wizards and the loss. Kispert had these things to say after the game ⬇️⬇️⬇️

Who’s Next…

The Washington Wizards (34-43) will head to New York to take on the Knicks Sunday, April 2 at 6 pm.
