TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) -- Four former Alabama football players arrested after two on-campus robberies are set to have their cases presented to a Tuscaloosa County grand jury.

Safety Eddie Williams, linebacker Dennis Pettway and running back/H-back Brent Calloway all waived their rights to a preliminary hearing scheduled for Tuesday before Tuscaloosa District Court Judge James C. Guin. Linebacker Tyler Hayes' case was automatically sent to a grand jury on Monday.

The players were dismissed from school following a judicial review.

Williams, Pettway and Hayes are charged with two counts of second-degree robbery after two students were attacked in separate robberies on Feb. 11. Williams and Calloway are both charged with using a stolen debit card.

Williams and Calloway - both 20 - and 18-year-old Pettway are seeking youthful offender status.

Hayes, 18, and Williams confessed to robbing a student who was punched in the head and face and kicked in the ribs and back. Williams said Pettway and Hayes waited in a nearby vehicle about an hour later while he knocked out and robbed another student. Williams and Hayes both admitted to their involvement, according to the documents.

Williams and Calloway both admitted to using a stolen campus debit card to buy snacks from vending machines inside a dormitory, the documents said.
