Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon to attend OTAs, readying to appeal suspension

The NFL has yet to officially suspend Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon for violating the league's substance-abuse policy for a second time, and the wideout will not be sitting idle until a final ruling comes down.

According to Cleveland.com, Gordon's agent Drew Rosenhaus is already in the process of appealing the yet-to-be-announced suspension, while Gordon plans to participate in the Browns' organized team activities this week.

Some have suggested that Gordon could be suspended for anywhere between eight and 16 games, while a handful believe the NFL will make Gordon an example and place an indefinite ban on the former Baylor star. If Gordon is suspended indefinitely, he will need to seek reinstatement from commissioner Roger Goodell.

It's expected that Rosenhaus and the NFLPA will work to get the pending suspension reduced. Gordon's presence at OTAs may force the NFL into making a quicker decision on his suspension.
