The Buffalo Bills traded up to select Clemson receiver Sammy Watkins in the first round of the NFL draft and signed players like former Patriots linebacker Brandon Spikes and former Ravens cornerback Corey Graham.

But the team suffered a big blow when linebacker Kiko Alonso, who had a breakthrough rookie season last year, tore his ACL, likely putting him out for the season. The Bills also let star safety Jairus Byrd walk in free agency and lost defensive coordinator Mike Pettine to the Browns' head-coaching job, replacing him with former Lions head coach Jim Schwartz.

The Bills' collective moves earned them a B grade in SI's offseason report card.
