Texans cut 2013 fourth-round pick Trevardo Williams

Friday August 1st, 2014

The Texans have cut linebacker Trevardo Williams, defensive coordinator Romeo Crennel told reporters.

Williams is the fourth Texans draft pick from the 2013 class to be released by the team. Third-round pick Brennan Williams was released last week. Sixth-round pick Chris Jones was released in August 2013 but later caught on with the Patriots and recorded six sacks. Third-round pick Sam Montgomery was one of three players released last October for an unspecified violation of team rules.
