Monday Night Football schedule 2014: TV, matchups, start time

The NFL's 2014 Monday Night Football schedule opens on Sept 8 with back-to-back contests. The Lions will host the Giants at 7:10 p.m. ET, and the Cardinals will host the Chargers at 10:20 p.m. ET. Both games, just like the rest of this year's Monday Night Football slate, will be broadcast on ESPN. 

Other notable early-season contests on Monday Night Football this season include the Eagles at Colts in Week 2, Patriots at Chiefs in Week 4 and Seahawks at Redskins in Week 5. 

Washington will play twice in four weeks on Monday Night Football, as the Redskins play the Cowboys during Week 8's Monday game.
