The Associated Press says they viewed a longer version of the videotape showing former Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice and his then-fiancée in an Atlantic City casino elevator.

In the video, Rice and Janay Palmer are heard shouting obscenities at each other in an elevator at the now-closed Revel Hotel and Casino. Palmer appears to spit in Rice’s face before he hit Palmer and knocked her unconscious. Rice then drags her out of the elevator before being met by hotel staff.

The video shown to the AP includes audio and is longer than the video posted by TMZ on its website Monday morning.

Hours after the release of the tape, the Ravens terminated Rice’s contract and the NFL suspended him indefinitely. Rice was originally suspended for two games which was met with widespread criticism.

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell then changed the policy on domestic violence offenders, suspending any NFL employee violating the policy six games for a first offense and issuing a lifetime ban for a second offense.
