Dallas Cowboys linebacker Justin Durant is expected to miss three to four weeks with a groin injury, according to team reporter Bryan Broaddus.

Durant, 29, left the Cowboys' season-opening loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday with the injury. He had seven tackles before leaving the game. The Cowboys allowed 28 first-half points to the 49ers.

He was limited to 10 games last season because of a hamstring injury. This is his second season in Dallas after playing the first six seasons of his career with the Jacksonville Jaguars and Detroit Lions.
