Lacy sustained the injury in the team's season opener against the Seattle Seahawks. He left the game in the fourth quarter and didn't return.

The NFL's concussion protocol mandates that Lacy has to be cleared by an independent doctor before he can return to practice or game action. His status for Week 2 is unknown, though he was present at practice, which could be a sign he is progressing.

Lacy, had 12 carries for just 34 yards in the Packers' 36-16 loss to Seattle after a rookie season that saw him rush for 1,178 yards and 11 touchdowns.

Green Bay hosts the New York Jets on Sunday in Week 2.
