Report: Saints' Mark Ingram expected to miss month with hand injury

New Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram is expected to miss about a month after he injured his hand in Sunday's 26-24 loss to the Cleveland Browns. In two games this season, Ingram has 143 yards on 24 carries, and three touchdowns. He also has four catches for 22 yards.

New Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram is expected to miss about a month after he injured his hand during Sunday's 26-24 loss to the Cleveland Browns, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

In two games this season, Ingram has 143 yards and three touchdowns on 24 carries. He also has four catches for 22 yards.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that Ingram's hand is broken. 

The Saints' backup running back is Khiry Robinson, who has 14 carries for 59 yards and a touchdown this season.

Saints coach Sean Payton declined to confirm the report. 

"Nothing now," Payton said. "We'll evaluate where he's at. Nothing today with regard to specifics." 

The 0-2 Saints play the Minnesota Vikings at home next Sunday.
