Castrol motor oil has ended its sponsorship of Adrian Peterson, according to ESPN's Darren Rovell

Castrol is the latest member of a growing list of brands to disassociate themselves from Peterson and the Vikings. Nike has pulled Peterson's No. 28 jersey from stores in the Twin Cities. The Radisson hotel chain has suspended its sponsorship of the Vikings. Wheaties also removed Peterson from its website.

On Tuesday, Peterson's charitable foundation announced it was on hiatus.

Peterson was indicted Friday in Texas on charges of child injury. He turned himself in and was released on bond.

According to a report Monday from Houston's KHOU, Peterson was investigated for injuring another four-year-old son

The Vikings deactivated Peterson for their Week 2 game against the Patriots, but said Monday he would be active in Week 3.
