New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. most likely will not play Thursday night against the Washington Redskins, according to Paul Schwartz of the New York Post. Giants head coach Tom Coughlin was asked about the status of his team's first-round selection and said "I don't believe he's there," meaning that he's not ready to play.

New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. most likely will not play Thursday night against the Washington Redskins, according to Paul Schwartz of the New York Post

Giants head coach Tom Coughlin was asked about the status of his team's first-round selection and replied "I don't believe he's there," meaning that the wide receiver is not ready to play. 

Beckham was picked 12th overall by the Giants in this year's draft. The rookie out of LSU has yet to suit up this year due to a lingering hamstring injury.

The Giants, currently 1-2 after a 30-17 win over the Houston Texans on Sunday, will face division rival Washington this Thursday on the road.
