Sunday October 5th, 2014

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Drew Stanton suffered a concussion during Sunday's loss in Denver vs. the Broncos.

Third-string QB Logan Thomas came in as the replacement as Stanton headed to the locker room in the fourth quarter. Stanton left after being hit by Broncos linebacker Von Miller and finished the day having completed 11 of 26 passes for 118 yards.

Earlier Sunday, it was reported that Arizona QB Carson Palmer is optimistic he'll return for a Week 6 matchup against the Redskins, or in Week 7 against the Raiders at the latest. Palmer has not played since Sept. 8 because of a nerve issue in his shoulder.

The Cardinals fell to the Broncos 41-20 and fall to 3-1.
