Seahawks center Max Unger out 3-4 weeks with knee, ankle injuries

Seahawks center Max Unger will be out for three to four weeks with injuries to his knee and ankle, Seattle head coach Pete Carroll said Monday.

Seahawks center Max Unger will be out for three to four weeks with injuries to his knee and ankle, Seattle head coach Pete Carroll said Monday

Unger was carted off the field in the fourth quarter of Sunday's game against the Chiefs. He missed four games earlier this season with a foot injury suffered in Week 5. 

Second-year player Patrick Lewis is listed as Unger's backup at center.

Marshawn Lynch takes shot at Seahawks' front office​

Unger has been a starter for the Seahawks ever since he was drafted in the second round in 2009. He was selected to the Pro Bowl in each of the past two seasons and was a first-team All-Pro in 2012.
